More darkroom trickery using Lithographic film, the very high
contrast material used in the news paper and other such printing
industries.

The original negative was enlarged onto a piece of Lith film.
This is only about 1/8 th of the original 35 mm. negative !!!

The resulting Lith positive was contact printed onto another
piece of Lith to give a totally black and white negative. There
are NO mid tones at all.



The negative was then printed onto Multigrade at Grade 5 - hard -
 to give this soot and whitewash result. Published several times,
this has been a successful trick picture. It does look very
strong on an exhibition wall, but it is a very good job that he
had a 'fag' in his mouth !
